James Kemp

James is a Senior Managing Director at Macquarie Asset Management and serves as the Head of Real Estate for Asia-Pacific. With over 19 years of experience in real estate private equity and investment banking across the Asia-Pacific region, he has been instrumental in leading Macquarie's real estate investment strategies. James has played a pivotal role in Macquarie's investments in specialist operators, focusing on sectors supported by structural tailwinds. His leadership has been crucial in identifying and partnering with management teams that differentiate themselves in their markets.
He holds a Bachelor of Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours and University Medal) from the University of Newcastle, as well as a Master of Finance from INSEAD.
Joshua Olsan

Josh founded UI in 2008 and has over 30 years of real estate experience in Japan and China, having developed and invested over 2.6 million sqm of GFA. Josh has overseen the investment and development of US$5.6 billion in assets.
Before UI, Josh served in numerous senior positions including Executive Vice President and Head of Industrial Real Estate at New City Corporation. Josh was one of the original founding members and Managing Director of AMB BlackPine, a 50/50 joint venture with AMB Corporation from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, he advised numerous U.S.-based equity funds on Japanese property investment, as well as ProLogis for their first logistics facilities investments in Japan.
Josh is fluent in Japanese, holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California, and attended Waseda University in Tokyo.
Ross Antoci

Ross joined UI in 2012 as a principal and brings over 30 years of real estate, banking and finance experience across Japan, Australia and Asia.
Before UI, Ross held numerous senior management positions including serving as co-Head of Fixed Income and Rep. Director at Bear Stearns Japan and as a member of JP Morgan Japan’s business committee.
Ross holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University. He is a fully qualified chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia).
Julia Huang

Julia is a Managing Director for MAM Real Estate, leading the sourcing, execution, and management of opportunistic investments across Asia markets. She has sourced and led successful deployment and asset management for Unified Industrial and associated real estate investments. Prior to Macquarie, Julia had 10+ years of investment experience across the Asia-Pacific region. At CLSA, she was responsible for the underwriting, execution, and asset management of real estate investments across Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Australia.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration (Executive) from the University of New South Wales.
Bryan Lim

Bryan is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Echo Base, a technology-focused real estate investment and development platform. With over 16 years of experience in investment banking, he has held leadership roles at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, specializing in real estate investment banking across the Asia-Pacific region.
At Echo Base, Bryan leads the development of smart buildings and integrated developments in Asia-Pacific and selected global gateway cities. His vision is to disrupt traditional real estate by providing next-generation services for smart buildings and future cities.
Bryan holds a degree from the University of Sydney.
Wong Yu Wei

Yu Wei joined Boustead Projects in 2009 and was appointed as Deputy Chairman & Executive Director in 2015. He was later promoted to Executive Deputy Chairman in 2021. Starting as Deputy Managing Director, he rose to Senior Deputy Managing Director before assuming his current role. With over a decade of property development experience, he is responsible for expanding the real estate business—including developments, investments, and fund management—as well as overseeing legal matters, overseas expansion, and strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
He has also held roles within the Boustead Group, including General Manager of Strategic Operations at Boustead Singapore Limited, and previously served as Business Development Support Consultant and Business Development Coordinator at Esri Australia Pty Ltd and Esri South Asia Pte Ltd respectively.
Yu Wei holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) from the University of New South Wales.
Hiroshi Takizawa

Hiroshi joined UI in 2023 as Managing Director of Business Development and CIO Japan, bringing over 38 years of real estate experience in Japan. He has developed, invested in, and operated over 2.5 million sqm of GFA across various asset classes, including logistics, data centres, residential, student accommodation, retail, and renewable energy. In 2024, he was appointed as CEO of UI Japan, overseeing all operations while continuing to drive business development. Prior to UI, Hiroshi held senior positions at GSA Star Asia, JLL, Walmart Japan, and AMB Property Japan.
Hiroshi holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Kyoto University, Japan
Samuel Lim

Samuel serves as the Head of Southeast Asia for UIB, overseeing the company’s real estate operations in Singapore and Vietnam. With nearly two decades of experience in real estate investment and development across Southeast Asia, he has played a pivotal role in expanding Boustead Projects’ portfolio of smart, eco-sustainable industrial developments.
Prior to his current role, Samuel held senior positions at LOGOS Group, Boustead Singapore Limited, and AEP Investment Management, where he was instrumental in originating and managing logistics and industrial assets across the region. He began his career at Jones Lang LaSalle.
Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore.
Frank Zhang

Frank joined UI in 2023 as Managing Director of Business Development and has more than 20 years’ experience in various categories of real estate development and cross border investment management. He was appointed as the CEO in March 2024, overseeing all of UI China, while continuing to drive business development
Prior to UI, he was the National Head of Business Development of Prologis China, focusing on capital deployment in China. He managed a team of 14 people covering deal sourcing, underwriting, investment committee approval, government relationship and other functions. Prior to that, he worked for Capbridge Group K.K as the Managing Director to lead the real estate investment and capital raising for projects in the US. Prior to that he worked for Tishman Speyer China as Head of Investment of China and New City Corporation as the Head of Investment for China
Frank holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from Nanjing University, China and an MBA from National University of Singapore
